Peach & Lily
Peach & Lily
Important Note: These designs were made for a school project. I DID NOT work with Peach & Lily - the product company. The credit for the product images goes to Peach & Lily, however the rest of the design work I did myself from scratch.
I completed this project in my Multimedia Concepts class. For this assignment, I took on the role of a content creator and promoted a product of my choice through various social media post designs. I created the required posts along with a style guide and thumbnail sketches to support the overall concept.

Thumbnails
Before I start design-heavy projects I like to make thumbnail sketches. Since I started my passion for art on paper it's a fast way to map out my designs before I begin work on the computer.
As seen here I have a rough layout for the designs you will find below. However, I make sure to stay open to the creative process as I go, making changes along the way. This means not all the sketches made it to the final project.
Style Guide
Whenever I work on a project I also fill out this style guide template that I created. I've found it's a great way to keep all your most important project and brand assets, fonts and colors together.
Facebook Post
This Facebook Post was a perfect square to make a collage in. Reaching people of all ages I did my best to make it appealing for people of all ages. The goal of this post is to grab people’s attention with it’s aesthetics, fun pictures, and bright colors. All 4 images have a color block with an adjective than can be found in the product description. This design is not only visually appealing but also informative.
Pinterest Pin
This Pinterest Pin was designed with many layers from the background all the way to the icons and text in the front. I wanted to ues layers to mimic a typical Pinterest Pin. This emphasizes the Sugar Plum flavor of lip balm, showing the product, its package, and even a coordinating background. Finally I made sure to note, with icons, that it’s vegan and cruelty free, along with noting in the top right what chemical benefits it provides
Instagram Carousel Post
This Instagram Post is designed to fit Instagram’s vibe of a person-product image. I edited the image to give this woman nourished, plump, and bouncy lips per the product's description. It's designed to show her wearing the product right next to her. Then when you swipe you see a more informational image, to learn about the product's ingredients. This image hits the product's highlights like any good promotional post should.
